Had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The family who owns it was so warm and welcoming, taking the time to explain the menu and make thoughtful recommendations. Food was absolutely delicious, every bite was memorable. The atmosphere paired with good company made it a night I didn’t want to end. This was my first time trying Uyghur cuisine, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Ordering dessert next time, heard the honey cakes are great! Highly recommend!

A beautiful restaurant from a beautiful culture This is the only Uyghur restaurant in KW and surrounding area. I’ve been meaning to go here for so long and I’m glad I finally got to go. The food is really flavourful and thoughtful. I got Atkan chai and one of the vegetarian meals (Koktat Laghmini) which was wonderful - spicy and sour with, best of all, handmade noodles. The food is a good price for the proportions. The restaurant itself is also beautiful and homey with lovely staff members. Would recommend coming here!

I went to Bogda Restaurant for the first time tonight, and it is now my FAVOURITE restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. It is a family-owned business! I will be telling everyone I know to come here! Also, I accidentally stayed 20 minutes past closing time. I was amazed that the staff did not even remind me. This family’s kindness is amazing. Much love for Bogda Restaurant!

So this was my first time ever trying Uyghur cuisine, and wow what amazing food MashaAllah. We ordered a variety of dishes, and they do not go soft of the portion sizes at all. Our favourites were definitely the cold beef noodles (super refreshing with great seasonings), mantu (delicious beef dumplings) and the lamb kabobs. The manager Hamdi was also super kind and respectful. Will definitely be back with some more friends soon!

Wow I’m so impressed! The food was so delicious I found myself marvelling at it many times while eating. We got a stir fry hand pulled noodle dish that was a little sour and spicy (so delicious), and the dumplings which tasted similar to Tibetan momos. The owner was so lovely, we’ll definitely be back soon! Best place for authentic Uyghur cuisine!!

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Bogda Xinjiang Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the cozy ambiance and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The menu is a delightful exploration of Xinjiang cuisine, offering a range of flavors that are both authentic and beautifully presented. Each dish, from the succulent lamb skewers to the perfectly spiced pilaf, was a testament to the culinary heritage of the region. Service was impeccable, with attentive but unobtrusive staff. It's not just a meal; it's a cultural journey that leaves you eagerly planning your next visit. A must-try for anyone looking to explore the rich flavors of Xinjiang cuisine. Five stars all the way!

Lovely owner and such welcoming service. The food is authentic and comforting- traditional with a homemade feel. The noodles are hand pulled and dumplings handmade. We called our order in ahead of time for our reservation. The Laghman is a must-try and the honey cake was amazing!
